With CORAIL, Roche Bobois achieves a world premiere in furniture : a base made of 3D-print concrete, customizable with the configurator below "CUSTOMIZE THE TABLE IN 3D", you can choose the shape and the size, but also choose to apply the weaving effect where you want and see the result in live.
The "genetic code" generated in this way will be used to drive the giant 3D printer, technological wonder. In a continuous movement from bottom to top, the digitally controlled nozzle deposits a concrete snake which hardens in the course of layering, then for 20 days.
With its shape evoking polyphorous mushrooms encrusted in trees, corals on their reefs or huge baroque shells, Corail is above all a superb object inspired by the beauty of natural imperfection, and wich gives free rein to the imagination of whoever adopts it.
