The BASTILLE brand is reinventing the bicycle by unveiling its groundbreaking innovation.

This unprecedented concept of a large-wheel folding bike was conceived and brought to life by Gilles Henry, the creator of the famous YOYO stroller.

The Fritsch-Durisotti studio is proud to have accompanied BASTILLE throughout a rich 5-year collaboration, the primary challenge of which was to strengthen, through design, a strong concept that imposed multiple constraints. Folding a large-wheel bike without compromising on usability and elegance was the collective goal that underpinned the entire project.
